The Steeple is a very common part of Christian church architecture. Originally a stand-alone structure, the steeple became part of the church roof early in the Renaissance period, when architecture as an art form became more sophisticated. Their design gives the impression of reaching for the heavens while anchored firmly on earth. Steeples may house bell towers, clocks, may have multiple spires, or even be little more than a skeletal outline or supporting beams. Whatever the particular structure elements are, the steeple is a familiar and comforting sight. Our Steeple charm captures the roofline in silver silhouette, with pierced out windows to give the impression of majestic stained glass windows.
